MDTA Point Breeze Police Complex. Baltimore, Maryland.

The renovation of this police office resulted in expanded administration space to accommodate the increase in administrative personnel.

This renovation project included performing site surveys to identify requirements for relocating incoming telephone and network data service. WRA provided a design that allowed for the relocation and extension of the incoming communications service by splicing new copper and fiber optic cables to the existing service feeds. The voice and data service was then routed to and terminated in a new telecommunications room.

WRA’s design included demolition requirements for the existing network cabling and the design of the new structure cabling infrastructure and spaces within the building to support the new voice and data services for the staff. The structured cabling system design included identifying locations for work area outlets, sizing and routing of cable trays for horizontal cable distribution and the sizing and layout of equipment racks and termination hardware in the new telecommunications room.
